That a network of professionals is needed to be able to communicate with a rapid response time in the event of a health disaster (outbreak/epidemic ) so that we are not relying on the media for our information.
it makes me think of a group project. it makes me think of Dr. Engelberg. It makes me think of finally learning how to make a difference in the health of those around us.... It makes me think of pan flu and how much we rock the house.
Makes me think of communication between the provider networks, (public and private), their customers (internal and external), health providers & their governemntal regulators, and the general public should the communication require that type of broad interface, and of course it makes me think of Smilin Jack
It makes me think about providing up-to-date, accurate information to the public to keep them informed on health issues and situations to minimize confusion and panic.

especially in our field I think of risk communication and realize how essential it is.
How to communicate to people to provide info regarding health (hopefully empowering them to make a decision).
